Midlands Community Foundation has pledged a $10,000 challenge grant to Splash Pads for Bellevue. Splash Pads needs you help to raise donations from our community to match the $10,000 pledged by the foundation. A challenge grant makes your donation is worth twice as much. We are planning several fund raising efforts so we can match the $10,000 pledge quickly and seek addition challenge grants. Please see our Donations page.

We are discussing green ideas for our splash pads with Green Bellevue. One idea is to use porous concrete. Green Bellevue is working on grant money to fund porous concrete projects which may fit into our splash pads. We are looking into other ideas about how to re-use water at the park after is is used for the splash pad. Green Bellevue is actively looking to ways to make Bellevue a green city.
